This flask is a little different from other similar flasks on the market. Different in a positive way. The Tafu has a clear coat on the outside that seems to be very good at repelling and preventing greasy fingerprint marks. I had a Zojirushi which showed fingerprint marks like crazy on the outside. The inside is also very easy to clean. The inside is not non-stick teflon or similar but instead seems to be a highly polished stainless steel.. Whatever it is it seems to be easier to clean than normal stainless steel. The flask operates with one hand very easily which is very helpful when you are on the move. The flip has just the right amount of spring to it. It's very light in weight but tough looking at the same time and it does an incredible job of keeping things at temperature. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could but I can't so instead I give you this review.

This travel flask is COOL or HOT, depending on what you want to do with it. I've used many travel mugs in my lifetime and this is the best so far. Very little temperature loss from filling the flask before I go to work and when using it at lunch time. By mid afternoon the contents are still at a nice hot temperature. Even in the evening when I'm back at home the contents are not cold. Amazing when you think about it. Can't go wrong for the price.

It's amazing how far thermal insulated flasks have come along since the old days of 'Thermos'. Zojirushi have always been good with insulation mugs and this one seems to be exactly the same to those. I think the low price is definitely worth it. Nice design and very useful item.

What is the difference between this and the zojirushi tuff mug you may ask? The answer is - absolutely nothing except this is half the price. Same quality, same volume, same temperatures, same appearance. If anything I find that Tafu paint does not show the fingerprints as much as the Zojirushi. A bargain price of £19 that I think is amazing.

Easy to use. Open with one hand. Damn tough. I've already dropped it five times and except for a tiny bit of chipped paint it shows no wear. Solid latch, good locking mechanism, this mug is one tough cookie! I took it with me to Asia at Christmas and even at the beach in temperatures of over 30 degrees C after 6 hours the contents were freezing cold. I have no idea what the equivalent Zojirushi mugs are like but so far I would rate this the undisputed winner of thermal mugs. I just placed an order for another one to give to my brother and I bet he will complain that it keeps his hot drinks too hot!
