I live in France and had previously purchased a Zojirushi from a company in Asia, what a mistake! It worked for some days but then it broke down and the company refused to replace or repair, so my money was wasted. I would advise anyone considering buying to buy with confidence from Yum Asia, their warranty is very good and from my past experience it’s important!

I got my sakura rice cooker today, i am super super happy. the ceramic bowl looks really sturdy and is absolutely perfect. I made my first jasmine rice just about an hour ago and it was super fluffy and nothing stuck to the bottom. Cant wait to use other functions such as porridge, slow cook, and others. Thank you so much yum asia for making this rice cooker with ceramic bowl you guys are fantastic!!!!

I bought one of these for my 3 year old daughter to take to playgroup. It has been fantastic- unbroken so far! It creates a temperature gradient inside so that the soup stays nice and hot at the bottom, the rice insulates the soup, so you can just about get away with dried fruit, bread etc in the top container. The school love it and it's great that the kid is getting a good warm meal before she goes out to School

I'd been looking for a Zojirushi water heater for so long and had given up hope, then I stumbled across your website. The CSQ30 is everything I hoped it would be, it has a handy timer so I can fill and programme for when I wake up in the morning and I have soon got used to having hot water instantly at the press of a button! Thank you for bringing such a wonderful product to the UK. Best wishes and thanks again

The ordered rice cooker arrived here in Germany. Delivery time was excellent because the rice cooker I ordered Monday noon time arrived already Thursday noon time here. Absolutely outstanding service from you. (5*****) Today we enjoyed rice made with the new cooker. Everything was perfect. (We used before Zojirushi equipment already for 15 years). Thanks again and best regards!

I decided to buy this model because I was interested in the GABA feature. I'm not sure how much GABA is activated, but the brown rice I've cooked using this setting is absolutely delicious. I can eat it by itself. Definitely the best brown rice I have tasted. The normal brown rice setting doesn't produce as flavorsome rice. Sushi rice is cooked to perfection using the sushi setting.

Instruction Manual for Zojirushi CV-CSQ30 VE Hybrid water heaterYum Asia warranty information for Zojirushi water heater220-240V power for use in UK & Europe. Supplied with a 3-pin UK plug/power cord, the power cord is detachable.

We often get asked questions about the products we sell, here is a selection of the questions which customers most often ask us.

Does this water heater work with UK or European power?

Yes. This water heater is factory made for UK and European 220-240v, 50hz power supply.

What plug/power cord is this product supplied with?

This water heater is supplied with a 3-pin UK plug. However, if you live in Europe you can easily purchase an adapter plug. Click here for a picture of the power cord. Please note that this product has a detachable power cord so if you prefer you can just change this.

Where is this water heater made?

The Zojirushi products we sell are either made in dedicated Zojirushi factories in China or Japan. Only Zojirushi products are made in these factories; Zojirushi manufacturing standards are extremely high and the factories have a reputation of excellence with build quality and detailed quality control. The CV-CSQ30 model is made in China.

Does it cost a lot to keep a Zojirushi water heater on all the time?

No. A lot of the energy in a traditional kettle is wasted because of poor insulation, as water is converted to steam before it switches off. There is also excess water which is heated and left in the kettle but not used - most people overfill their kettles. The inner pot of these water heaters are insulated therefore the energy goes into the water, no steam is produced and very little energy is needed to keep it warm. It is estimated that maintaining the water temperature costs less than 7 pence per day (depending on electricity tariffs). Remember that each time you boil a kettle it costs you each time it is boiled - you are probably heating more water than you need too every time you boil your ordinary kettle and then letting it cool. These Zojirushi water heaters retain most of the energy used, therefore saving you money to use on other things!

Ever wanted the convenience of boiling water available at the touch of a button? Well it is as simple as this Zojirushi hot water heater - no more waiting to make hot drinks, noodles or soups. You just fill it up with water, switch it on and forget about it - until you're ready for hot water. No Asian kitchen is without one!

The Zojirushi CV-CSQ30 saves energy - it is the latest technology for hot water heaters and has energy savings of 60% over other standard water heaters. See the specifications below for more information on energy consumption. This water heater is designed to be filled and left on continuously, so boiling water is available any time for hot drinks, 'instant' foods like ramen, filling flasks or general cooking use. The water heater doesn't need to be emptied, just top it up with cold water when hot water is not needed - it takes between 25-35 minutes to bring the water to 98°C for the initial boil.

This Zojirushi VE Hybrid water heater has a similar footprint to your traditional kettle, the LCD screen displays what temperature the water inside is and once the initial boil has finished the unit will play a tune to let you know. The unit creates a vacuum insulated seal to ensure the water is kept at the highest temperature possible whilst conserving energy. This water heater is designed to be left on for 24 hours, seven days a week and has an automatic shut off feature to stop it boiling dry or if the lid isn't shut properly. Unique to the VE Hybrid model is the Thermal Insulation Keep Warm mode - by selecting this you save energy as the power to the unit is shut off and the water is kept at the correct temperature by the thermal insulation built into the water heater. There is an easy to use energy saver timer function which can be programmed up to 10 hours in advance to have hot water ready for when you wake up in the morning or get in from work. By using the different keep warm settings you can save up to 15% electricity.

The only maintenance required is to descale the interior of the water heater at intervals depending on the scale build-up. Full instructions for descaling are provided in the manufactures manual and requires simple citric acid cleaner like a traditional kettle or coffee maker.

Great service from Yumasia as ordered this on Friday and received it on Monday. I had considered buying a cheaper version that is made by a Chinese company but some negative reviews about reliability and poor customer service from that seller put me off . With Zojirushi, I know that the product will be durable, look good and have the features which are essential as well as extras, such as a detachable power cord. detachable lid and timer. Also if any problems develop, Yumasia has the track record of customer support that few internet companies do. So no regrets for spending more on this pot as I'm sure it will give me many years of convenience and energy efficiency.

The trusty and much used unit that our new one replaces would probably have marched on for another year or two had I not got water inside the control unit whilst cleaning it - my fault entirely. I wasn't sure how long it would be to get hold of another unit as I know these items are not generally available on the high street. I couldn't have been happier with the efficient and speedy delivery from Yum Asia - easy to order, super quick delivery and within 36 hours of killing the old machine, I am enjoying the fuss free way this piece of kit does its job. Silent operation (having swapped the melody with a beep when boiled), boiling water on demand and all the energy saving features that make the conventional kettle as up to date as a wattle and daub house. Great value and superb service. Thoroughly recommended!

I've tested this for 2 weeks now and I don't understand how I managed to live without one before that. It's very convenient to always have access to steaming hot water with a simple press of a button. It has two temperature settings, 90 and 98°C. 98°C is good for black tea, instant miso soup and instant ramen and 90°C is good for brewing coffee and making oolong tea. There is no 80°C setting for green tea, but I simply pour 90°C water into the teapot first and then add the tea leaves. During that time the teapot heats up (no need to pre-heating) and the water cools to around 80°C.The water heater is very easy to operate, the buttons are intuitive and the manual easy to understand. The temperature of the water is displayed in degrees Celsius on a LCD in steps of 5°C. The water heater came with a British power cord but it has a standard C14 power inlet so I replaced the cord with an IEC cord I happened to have at home.

I love this product. I wanted to replace my kettle for a while now and after I could not find a suitable replacement with different temperature settings and that had good reviews I ended up searching for a Zojirushi water heater. We already use the Zojirushi travel mug which is the best travel mug we ever had. This 3 litre model heats up the water in around 35 minutes and it very silent. The device is not hot at the touch like normal kettles. When the boiling temp is reached a melody signal (Bach if I am correct) will sound. This model also offers a timer so you can select when the heater should boil the water. This is very handy for the mornings so the water is already hot when you wake up. The energy saving mode cuts off the electricity consumption while the device still keeps the water hot: we boiled the water before going to sleep and 8 hours later the temp was still at 45 degrees. The product itself is light and easy to clean. You can trust the elephant seal!

This is the 4th water heater I've bought- this time for the daughter going to university. In your life you will experience a handful of "Oh, that's how it should be" objects- maybe your smart phone, a decent salt grinder, a sofa- well, this is one of those objects that is "right", day after day after day. I like the silence of the thing- it's slow to boil and you really only know it's happened because it plays a little tune. It is always ready. Cups of tea can now be prepared in peace. As it should be.
